About PeptideDB

PeptideDB is an open reference database for research peptides. Most existing peptide resources are either highly technical bioinformatics tools or scattered forum threads. We sit in between: structured, scannable, plain-English profiles of each compound, backed by links to the primary literature.

What we cover

Every peptide profile aims to answer the same core questions — what it is, how it's thought to work, what it's been studied for, how long it lasts, and where to read more. Comparison pages place commonly confused or commonly paired peptides side by side.

How we handle accuracy

Structured fields such as molecular weight, formula, sequence, and CAS number are drawn from public chemical databases and the published literature. Descriptions are written to be readable rather than exhaustive, and each profile links to its sources so you can verify claims directly. If you spot an error, the references are the place to start.

Important

PeptideDB is strictly an educational and research resource. Nothing here is medical advice or an endorsement of human use. See thefull disclaimer for details.
